This simple app allows the learner to access abbreviated content. 1) Concept description - provides the learner with a synopsis of the concept. 2) Alternations and Nursing Care - provides an overview of content that is related to the concept. This provides content beyond the exemplars. 3) Linking Concepts - show the connections of other concepts to the primary concepts being presented. 4) Related Exemplars - brief content presentation of the exemplars related to the concept from Pearson s Concept Based Nursing. The app will help the learner make important connections between different Concepts. It will assist them in moving between factual and conceptual understanding in a mutually reinforcing way. When the learner can make these Concept connections, they are will be able to use good clinical judgment in patient care.
